metallic globe.

VIEWING RECOMMENDATIONS:
    Xing MPEG player

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS ANIMATION WAS CREATED:

I created the frames using the standard animation support in Povray for
Windows.
The animation comprises 12 seperate sections, the length of each depending
depending upon what is happening in each sequence - when the globe rotates it
does so
at a constant rate of 1.5_ per frame, objects fall at a constant rate and the
globe
fills and melts at a constant volume per frame.

The quality of the animation was monitored using BMP2AVI. The final MPG
animation
being produced by AVI2MPG1 (for some reason CMPEG always introduced some frames
upside down and/or blank in this animation). The animation that has been
produced
runs at 30 fps but looks better if it can be run at 15 - 20 fps.
