VIEWING RECOMMENDATIONS:

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS ANIMATION WAS CREATED:

I had trouble coming up with a good idea for this round. I started
playing around with a superquadratic and came up with this.

I took a superquad and animated its parameters to have it cycle though
different shapes. I also translated the texture during the animation
to add the rippling effect. For the lighting I used 5 blue tinted area
lights to form a box around the whole scene, with an orange tinted
light to create the shadows.

I did run into a few problems. There wasn't a good way to morph between
all the shapes I wanted to include. Mainly between the pyramid and
the cube. If you watch closely there is a noticeable jump when the cube
forms. There is also a small tear in the cylinder. It's only a pixel
or two and only lasts for a second so it's not as noticeable.

I've included the pov files in the zip.
