ANIMATION DESCRIPTION:

Just a Red Dog enjoying the music.

VIEWING RECOMMENDATIONS: VLC or Windows Media Player

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS ANIMATION WAS CREATED:

I was inspired by the teaser animations for "Yeah, the Movie" and also by the work of Jeff Lew.

My dog character neede a new rig because the last time he danced I ran into quite a few problems - creased joints, crumpled mesh and so on.

This rig is not the final answer but it's closer. I still haven't figured out how do deal with the shoulder-chest area and get a full range of motion.

The first dance sequence is an attempt to duplicate the "Boss Dance" from "Yeah, the Movie". Followed by the walk up to smack the camera. The sequence behind the final credits is an attempt to duplicate some of Jeff Lew's animation.

The title sequence is just an excuse to play with the new array modifier.

And finally the music is "Gimme Some Lovin" by the Spencer Davis Group.
