IMAGE DESCRIPTION:

This image was inspired by a long campaign in a D&D game I have been playing
in for the last 5 or 6 years. At one point we cleaned out a necropolis with
15 to 20 thousand undead inside! we destroyed thousands of skelital Drow
warriors similar to the one pictured. A few things are missing, the small
details that identify the orriginal person as a Drow, but I just didn't have
the time to build models of the appropriate jewlery and markings. I still
like the image though!

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

I pieced together several pieces of skeleton models I found at various times
and places on the internet. After I had a passable skeliton, I started to work

on the armor and sword. The sword was easy, just an extruded polygon with some

toruses making up the hilt. The armor was more difficult. I extruded,
twisted, and scaled polygons to form the plates. I then extruded cylinders
around the edges to form a worked edge. The prepared spell is a completely
clear sphere with a "fire" environment wrapped around it. There isn't much
else to it, just weeks of tweaking joints, armor plates, lighting, etc.

The scene file was 2MB in size, so I did not include it.
