IMAGE DESCRIPTION:
The periodic Table of Elements. Although 'elements' are more
than their location in a table, they represent certain order.
Representing particles that are -for now - the universe's basis was impossible:
If we think about the relationship between them, we would end
with a space so full of energy that we wouldn't be able to distinguish anything.
Analizing from the bigger concept to the minimum does not help, either.
If we could enter into ourselves, deeper and deeper, we would find particles
into particles, very much the same if we go to space.
My intention is to show that the universe does not begin here, and does not end
here either. It simply is, and we have tried to understand it through
types, classifications, orders and so on, when we are in some point of this
cycle.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

1) First, I looked for a periodic table. Then, modified it to convert it into a
sharpened gif, to use it as first height field.
2) To add some color and different surfaces, I used another gif image made with
PSP.
3) Objects in scene -spheres and torus - were added in a separate .inc file.
4) Last, adding and testing light sources was time consuming, but it worths every
minute.
5) Rendered the image (in POVray, size: 1.4 Mb as tga). This time I added a
layer with the title and my name in PSP 5.0. and then compressed with Corel
8.0, at 100f compression and no smoothing. A digimarc was added in the same
environment (Corel Photo Paint )
6) Here is my image.
