DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:
This is one of the more interesting
Brycian images I have done. The water fall and the rocks were created by hand
in Photoshop as 256 level grey scale images and imported into Bryce's terrain
editor for fine tuning. For the water texture I had to play around a lot with
the Bryce materials editor to get a setting where secularity was associated
with slope. After much experimenting I finally got a texture where there is a
lot of secularity associated with the vertical. This allowed the whiteness and
shinneyness for the vertical water drops in the falls. Bryce also allows more
then one bump map for a given texture. That was also done for the water
texture. This allowed for water ripples in more then one direction. The
background mountain and it's associated cloud were done setting Bryce texture
to "blend transparencies". This helped give the mountain that far away look.
The bathers were simple Poser imports.
