IMAGE DESCRIPTION:

An image of a bright clear world. Its people know, how to preserve its
resources,
because they are only a few. In this world technology and nature are not
contrary
to one another. For what purpose could they have build this construction?

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

I don't like modellers very much because every time I try out one I get lost for

hours in fumbling out the details of every little object. Therefore creating
objects
with algorithmic methods and the POV-Ray scene language is one of my favourite
subjects.
The main object in my scene, - I call it 'the bridge' -, consists of more than
42000
cylinders, spheres and boxes. Only one single basic union is needed to build the

entire construction. First this basic object is placed into a matrix, then
scaled,
rotated and displaced using random numbers. The objects symmetry is achieved by

changing the sign of one of the displace - vector components.

I wish to thank all the authors of POV-Ray for this great software. Being a
non-programmer
they have my full admiration for their programming skills. My wish for the
future is that
the scene language will never be canceled to replace it by some sort of graphic
entry or
modeller.
