IMAGE DESCRIPTION:

  Believe It or Not! World's strangest bug collection. Height_field
     critters found in the land of Fractint. When the collector
     was asked "What are the possible practical benefits to be
     derived from these creatures?" he was heard to mumble "Who
     cares? They're just such great mind candy!"

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

     Really simple stuff;
       Bugs are height_fields of gifs from Fractint (after
         cleaning up background clutter)
       Then simple csg for legs and mounting pins.
