IMAGE DESCRIPTION:

"Unbelievable!", wispered the ranger. We peered forward.
There in the saturated ground was a fresh footprint of
something very large and undeniably human...

I am, of course, refering to the legendary Bigfoot which
supposedly wanders around forests in the North-Western USA.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

The mud was a height field drawn in Corel and carefully
textured to appear damp. The beer can (Bigfoot Ale, naturally)
was made with SPatch. L-Parser created the tree. The variable
reflection of the water was done by splitting the plane into
many small segments each with different reflectivity.

The inspiration for this picture was a drawing by M. C. Escher.
