IMAGE DESCRIPTION:
A hurricane wrecks havoc on coastal town, but
the nightmare is not over; in the light of a peaceful dawn, the
lighthouse family awakens from their short, but much needed nap, to
to find that the storm has disturbed a denizen of the deep ocean.
It attacks the lighthouse believing it to be the cause of its pain
and misery. The only defense that may repel the nefarious
beast is fire! The keeper and his two sons use axes and hammers to
break up crates and light a fire which now threatens both their home
   and the monster.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:
    I used my lighthouse,
keepers house and dinghy from one of my previous entries. I
created them all in Raydream. I created a new island and ocean
using 4elements in Raydream. The camera is too close to see the
ocean, but its there. I used freeform modeler to create the tent-
acles and suckers. I used the meshmodeler to create the body.
I used an organic texture for the octopus, but wasn't satisfied
until I added some reflective properties to it. I used both a red
and yellow light of limited strength to simulate fire. I used
both the Raydream fire elemental and 4elements fire texture. The
stairs are just cubes placed around the rock. The hardest part was
getting all of the tentacles around the lighthouse without getting
them stuck in anything other than sand. Even so I had to delete one
arm, imagine it out of view bent under the poor creature- no wonder
   he's so angry!
