IMAGE DESCRIPTION:

For centuries, the white cliffs of Dover stood as a beacon to mariners, and
later, aviators, showing them the way home. On May 8, 1945, those cliffs
became, in the hearts of millions, the landmark at the end of the most
destructive period in human history, and at the beginning of a more enlightened
age.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

Landscapes and textures are what Bryce does best. I started out making a
plateau with the 'snowy peaks' preset, changed the snow to grass, and the
mountainside to chalk. Lots of playing with color to get this accomplished.
Plopped it into a sea made more blue to resemble the Channel, under a sky with
the haze and fog upped a few notches to resemble the southern coast, et voila.

(My mom will love this one, and that's what matters. :)
