IMAGE DESCRIPTION:

You see a stone monument which is situated in a lake in the mountains.
The image shows the contrast of created exactness and natural irregularity.
It radiates loneliness. So enjoy and meditate.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

It took about one day from nothing to the final source code, which I wrote
completely in the POV editor.

The sun is a light_source which looks_like a disc with an onion pattern.
The sky is a sky_sphere with a gradient texture.
The clouds are a simple granite pattern without turbulence or anything.
The mountains are a height_field which I created in HF-Lab.
The water is a plane with reflecting bumps.
The monument is a union consisting of several cylinders, spheres and differences
(see source code for details).
It uses a granite normal pattern.
The railing is done by spheres, cylinders, #while loops, torus and reflecting
metal.

There are two fill lights beside the sun:
One is an area_light with very smooth shadows from right-above-behind.
The other one is shadowless and comes from the left.

I know that the illumination is not physically correct.
There is sometimes light, where there should be shadow.
But believe me, I tried several light situations and this one looks best.
