IMAGE DESCRIPTION:

Some kind of monster in a sewer or drain.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

There was completely no planning in this scene. I started by putting the
cylinders
for the tunnel, then I addded the sidewalks (or whatever their name is), the
water and so on.
But it was a little empty so I decided to make something with sPatch. After
many, many tries I
came out with this "monster". I know there is still something missing but either
I don't
know what it is or I'm not able to do it yet. I tried to put some fog in it, but
I didn't like
the results
Anyway, almost everything(but the monster) is CSG. The water is a
heightfield generated
by POV, modifying the hightfield example in the documentation. The textures are
mostly texture
maps.
I think that's about everything. This is my first submission to the IRTC
and is one of
few (barely) complete scenes.
Ah! PhotoPaint was used for jpg conversion and to put my name on it.
