IMAGE DESCRIPTION:

This is a sub floating somewhere in the arctic. Since the topic is sea, I
thought a sub would be a pretty
easy image to make. What's strange is that soon after I thought of this, a
Russion sub did sink somewhere
off the coast of Europe.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

This was a fairly simple image to make. The sub is just a bunch of CSG:
cylinders, spheres, toruses,
and a superellipsoid. The water is a height field with some ripples, turbulence,
and absorption media.
This was made with Height Field Lab as the icbergs seen in the background
(mostly obscured by the
fog). The smaller icebergs were made using the gimp. I just made some circles
and heavily blurred them.
