IMAGE DESCRIPTION:

Lots of orange triangles and blue tetraeders. (orange - blue are contrast
colors,
triangle - tetraeder is 2d against 3d).
I wanted to do something really abstract this time, the topic allowed for such
an interpretation.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

I wrote two recursive macros, one to split up a triangle into little triangles,
one to split up a tetraeder into little tetraeders.
Four splitted tetraeder form the "ice" pyramid, two splitted triangles form the
"fire"
in the background.
Behind the pyramid are lights, so that the transparent tetraeders can be seen,
behind
the lights is a big white triangle, so that the orange background can not be
seen through
the pyramid, behind the white triangle is another light to illuminate the orange
triangle
background.
It took a bit until I discovered that this was the method to get what I wanted.
First
I had to realize that with so many transparent tetraeders I had to raise the
max_trace_level, then I tried to set the light into the pyramid and got black
spots...
and so on.

I got it right just in time, midnight arrives, happy new year to all.
