HARDWARE USED:

Its a pentium 266 I think.. I rendered it on my brothers computer while
he was out so I'm not
        precisely sure

IMAGE DESCRIPTION:

Well, Basically its two humans with these brain tentacles on their
heads, a monster with a
squid for a head and a meatball with strange appendages floating upon a
shiny gold altar.
Inspiration for this image comes mainly from the Illithids of D&D. They
eat peoples brains
and are psychic and are generally not nice. They're sorta D&Ds answer to
Cthulu, I guess.
I reckon I did a reasonable job on some of the objects, but were I lost
out was in the
composition of all the objects combined. Also, I still need to work on
some of those textures.
If anyone has a material for povray that simulates like.. a soft
coloured glow, I'd be very
        interested.

Notes
========

Well, I assembled it like this.

I assembled EVERYTHING in Doga-L2, then exported it as a VRML.

I converted the VRML into a 3DStudio file, using 3DExploration.

Then I converted it from a 3DStudio file into a Povray scene using 3DS2POV.

THEN, I added camera position, lights and altered 10 or so of the textures.

Also, I'd really like to thanks all the great guys at Doga and Povray. In my
mind they're the best two programs for
mucking around with I've ever experienced. Also, I recommend for people to check
out 3DExploration for their conversion needs. I've found it quite versatile.

3DS2POV - by Steve Anger and Jeff Bowermaster.. I dont seem to have an address.
I suggest you look for it in the links at HTTP://www.povray.org/
