from the mud. The buddha's hand touch the ground, which is the witness of his
enlightment

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

The big work was for the modelling. The human body is incredibly difficult to
sculpt and my Buddha is not a Poser Object. I modelized each body part in
Organica, head, torso, legs and arms. Then, these parts have been imported in
Imagine as separated objects and meshed together. ImagineIFW2.14 allows the
meshing (actually called zmesh) of separate objects, such as the head and the
torso in the buddha. After that, it just a matter of composition in Imagine.
The tentacles emerging from the mud symbolize the darkness of the world, this
was done with a simple Imagine particlisation of a torus. The lotus is made of
Imagine "forms". The textures are basic Imagine textures, cloud for the sky,
linear, wave for the sea, dirt and wormvein for the buddha's skin.
