IMAGE DESCRIPTION:

I've always been fascinated by fluid dynamics, and still photographs
of fluids in movement. That's why I thought it was a good idea to model
a "A falling cup of wine".

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

I developed a program in which I simulate the behavior of liquids using a
blob-component approach. It was coded in C and it may be available upon
request.
It is based in a inter-particle interaction dynamic system with a
Adams-Bashford-Moulton predictor-corrector ODE solver.
All the frames of the simulation are saved, but only one frame was
selected for this competition. I spent many hours tweaking the C code
to try to obtain more realistic effects.

The image_map of the table was taken from the internet a long time ago, so
I've already forgotten the author.

I'm submitting everything a few minutes before the deadline, so, regrettably,
I really didn't have more time to add more things. I wanted to add a few
more things to the table. Also, I wanted to add focal blur, but I ran out of
time.
Also, I didn't have enough time to tidy up the code, so please try to
overlook the mess.
