IMAGE DESCRIPTION:

Whoville at first light.
I thought at first I would do some well known architectural ediface. Then I
decided that is what most people would do, since I like being different, I took
a fun tack on the theme. This image was inspired by Dr. Suess's work - his
many books with weird and wonderful locations and buildings. I just love the
look and feel of his work. Lots of smooth edges, few straight lines, and a
disconcern for gravity. Yes, the image is deravitive but still quite unique in
its own right (cross between Whoville and Bedrocki).

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

Lots of bollean subtraction. Lots of extrusions, routering, and beveling.
Volumetric fog and lights add a bit of depth. Used Skytracer 2 (built into
Lightwave) for the sky. I wanted a nice smooth feel, so no texture maps. I
hope you like it - it was fun to create.
