IMAGE DESCRIPTION:

What we might consider a normal bowl of fruit in the
not too distance future. The fairys represent bees
that will inevitably cross polinate our frankin-fruits
with the rest of the natural world.

There is a menger sponge in this picture as always.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

The orange, peach plate, and tomatos are isosurfaces.

The leaves are all height fields with image maps.
The vase is CSG. (Lot's of algebra.)

The light coming through the window is a very large 9x9 area light.
The outside image is a photograph I took on a recent vacation
tweaked on Photoshop.
Radiosity was used.

I wanted to have one of the fruits growing a bar code pattern in its
skin but didn't have time to do it.

I merged my two final renders into this image. I tweaked a wrong
parameter on the final render, and didn't have time to rerender
with the correct setting. Luckily the 2nd to last render had that
section of the image right, so I copied it over. If I rerender it'll
be exactly the same.
