IMAGE DESCRIPTION:

When I think about "desert", I think at the Sonoran Desert, in the south of
Arizona, a wonderful place. There, you can find the incredible saguaros, young
ones without arms, olders whith strange arms, you can find too occotillos, and
opuntias. In this picture, somebody is buried in the earth and the sand.
Perhaps he was died of thirst, because you can see his water bottle and his mug
not far from his grave. Tucson was too far to be reached ! Nobody of course, in
this land, only a little red snake wandering...

For the french speaking people..
On

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

First, a lot of thanks to my friend Antoine, who gives me his saguaros with
arms, because I did'nt know how to make that.
Most of the ground is made with isosurfaces, because it is more realistic, the
Sonoran Desert is not like the Sahara, with regular sand dunes.. The mountains,
in the background are made with a hight-field, and the shrubs and tree have
needed the well known macro "maketree" from Gilles Tran.
The little yellow flowers in the left corner come from an old script written for
POV-Ray 3.1.
I think that there is nothing very difficult to do in this modest picture...

For the french speaking people..

And, of course, I apologize for my poor english, it's not my natural language,
you have yet noticed that !!
