IMAGE DESCRIPTION:
I've always thought museums were scary at night, especially
when
         the dinosaurs cast long shadows.
Modeled after the Bitish Natural History Museum in London, but with
        differences.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

First up, I imported a Poser figure that was reminiscent of the one
actually on display in the Dinosaur wing ( Although I have never been there and
only had grainy pictures)
and set it up as the statue in the background. I called it Colossus
because it looks like the one in John Gardiners picture from a few competitions
ago.
Also, I used a downloaded Brontosaur from Cyberdata on the 3dCafe
website.
That having been said, I did everything else "out of box" in POV Ray
with only a picture of the
        museum in hand.
Everything is straight lines and angles and boxes and csg's. The hardest
part was the lighting
and getting all of the shadws to do what I wanted. Also the big glass
windows in the back forced me to create a room beyond what is seen.
A lot of fun to do as this was my first foray into large scale
architecture.
