The planets are the fastest things we'll ever be on.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

The Moon is just a sphere with a pigment map and a normal. The pigment
map gives the _oceans_ and the normal gives the craters.

The sun is a combination of two medias. One is a spherical media the
other has turbulence to add the solar flares. It has a area light in it facing
the moon and the planet

The planet's surface is a complicated texture. two pigment maps (one
ripple one and one bump one) make up the normal of the land texture to give the
impression of mountains. The land pigment is a 5 color ripple with a little bit
of turbulence. This is combined with a sharp edge with a plain blue water
texture.
The clouds are a sphere with some parts a pure white texture and others
transparent.

The stars are just 10000 ambient spheres randomly placed far away.
